What is a pellet?

Wood pellets are a solid biofuel formed by compacting raw material from the forestry sector, mainly sawdust and shavings. The pellets are converted into thermal energy through different installations, from a domestic cooker to a large boiler. This energy meets the needs of any single-family home, community of neighbours, companies and industries, hotels, any other building.

The raw material for ENERBÍO pellets comes from the primary wood processing sector in central Catalonia, concentrating it in St. Martí d'Albars where it is dried, granulated, extracted and distributed.
